Though Facbook is a great social network for a host of
purposes but you may need some privacy. Custom groups can however be created to
share selectively on Facebook but that requires some conditional details. On
the contrary private social networks allow you to have a selective group of
people to share your life and views. Here are some of the prominent private
social networks which offer an alternative to Facebook.
1. Path:-
Path offers to make private sharing as simple as possible.
The limit of connections is 150. The focus of Path is only on the closest
people you have in your life. As such there is a limited amount of control over
how your share with them.
Whenever you make a post, you can choose which people can
see that post. You have to repeat that process for each consequent post. It has
a feature called inner circle which allows you to create a group. You are
however limited to just one group in this social network.
2. Everyme:-
It allows you to create groups based on whom you want to
share your posts with. Each group you create will get its own custom news feed
so that you can keep a check on different people from different parts of your
live without having to search for them. You can have an unlimited number of
groups.
Other people do not have to be on Everyme to be able to view the posts.
If you have added a number/email to a group, that person will get a customized
email or text message showing what you’ve uploaded.
3. Couples:-
Couples is a social network that is solely for couples.
After installing the app you add the other person into your account. After that
the couple can share pictures, private messages and other usual purposes as
needed. There is a shared task list which any one of you can edit which is a
great way of communicating needs.
There is even a shared scheduler so the two
of you can keep track of your commitments. Couples offers a great choice if you
accord privacy in your relationship the foremost priority.
