Until very recently a SIM- free budget Smartphone was not
within range of the common man. The Motorola Moto G which costs as low as $180
poses a serious challenge for the big companies.
Review:-
1.Design & Build:-
Its design takes a one from Motorola’s flagship phone, the
Moto X. The Smartphone has been built sturdily enough, is light and comfortable
to carry.
2.Display:-
The screen is slightly small by today’s standards at 4.5
inches but the 720p resolution is retina sharp. Colors are done well with the
right balance.
3.Hardware:-
It packs a quad-core processor and Snapdragon 400 chip.
Routine functions smoothly with only 1 gigabytes of RAM.
4.Camera:-
It has a 5 megapixel unit. Even in low light conditions it
produces a well-lit image. Motorola’s camera software has an HDR mode which
produces striking photos out of mundane scenes.
5.Battery:-
The Moto G is equipped with a 250mAh non-removable
battery. With light use stretch time is
around 3 days and with medium to heavy use it is about a day to a day and a
half.
